Summary: AU A "faerie" tale with elves, vampires, and reincarnation. Draco's a transfer student who arrives at Hogwarts during Harry's seventh year, trying to fulfill a promise made nearly a hundred years ago. But what is this promise and does it have to do with Harry? WIP

1. I forgot where I read that. It's in a whole bunch of different fantasy books, I'm sure- that humans who can wield magic would use high magic, which is controlled... and magical creatures use wild magic, which is untamed and uncontrollable. Does anyone remember where this is from?

I can't be sure, but your phrasing kind of gives it away... I think you read it in Tamora Piece's Wild Magic series. It's almost the same idea, at least... Humans have High Magic, animals use Wild Magic... Supposedly, Wild and High magic aren't interchangeable, but Daine uses Wild... And if you haven't read the series, well... There you go. Something to read when the internet goes out. No slash, though. (At least, no official slash. I have my suspicions about Jonathan...)

As for the Enchantment series... ^-^ Wonderful. Definitely a great story — and I understand about it coming to you slowly. >>;; (stuffs her small mountain of unfinished works under her bed) Just remember that you really do have a wonderful piece there, and it's worth finishing.

I don't think I even need to mention the people who will hunt you down and do something inventive with plastic wrap and knitting needles.

I know I've read this story before! I just found it on FF.net again, and was soooo disappointed to find that you still haven't finished it. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to know what happens. PLEASE! I'm begging you! I must know what happens!
