It took him a year to grow out his hair, and hours pouring over photographs to get the coat right. The arrays on his gloves were painstakingly stitched on so that it was concealed by his palms.

He was rewarded every morning when he stared into the mirror and saw that slightly maniacal grin that said, 'I would do anything for my brother.'

This way, he thought when he stared in the mirror, it didn’t seem so lonely anymore.

"Are you the Fullmetal Alchemist?" People would ask in awe whenever he performed some miracle for them.

"Yes." Alphonse would lie.

I heart drabbles. *__* They're so much easier to write and finish than full-length fics! :D

and I just realized (even though I'm sure this happened a looooong time ago) that fma_100 is gone. T__T Dammit. I had a few drabbles I only posted to that community... *whines*
